Properties built more than a few years ago were built to a much lower specification than they are today causing traditional timber constructions to rot due to bad weather.

Over time, rain water and condensation gets trapped under the eaves where it pools and rots the felt. Once the protection has been degraded, water can then reach the wooden fascias and roof joists which then also rot, resulting in warped, split wood and peeling paintwork.

The solution to this problem is PVCU fascias and soffits, which never rot, warp, split or discolour. More importantly, the structural integrity of the eaves is ensured, thus avoiding costly repairs.

Our dedicated team will replace the rotten wood with treated wood. The felt is then replaced with our PVCU Eaves Protection System to ensure that the problem will not re-occur.

EPS is plastic and doesn’t rot. Fascias, soffits and roof joists will be safe from wind-blown rain.

We can then replace or enclose your existing fascias and soffits with our own PVCU replacements, and then finally we’ll install a new rainwater system-guttering and down pipes.

Depending on the amount of damage your eaves have suffered, we can perform either replacement or virtual replacement. A full replacement would be most applicable if 50% of the wood needed replacing, whereas a virtual replacement would be undertaken if the damage was less extensive.
